A category listing on an e-commerce website homepage is a section that displays a list of different product categories that the website offers.
What is Category listing?
The purpose of a category listing on the homepage is to help users easily navigate the website and find the products they are looking for. By clicking on a category link, users can quickly access a page that contains all the products in that category, making it easier for them to browse and find what they are looking for.
Configuring category listing
Step 1: Click the edit button
To start configuring the category listing, simply click the edit button ( the pen symbol) on the corresponding component tag.
Step 2: Fill in the required information
You can select the animation of the cateogy listing from the 3 options: manual sliding, auto-sliding or static
Step 3: Select the categories that you want to display
Click the choose category dropbox to select a category and sub-categories to display on the listing
Step 4: Confirm your decision
Click the Add button to finish the configuration process
