Prerequisite

To be able to add a product and sync it to other platforms, you must have successfully integrated the needed platform into the Centralised Distribution system. For instruction on how to integrate another e-commerce platform/ sale channel, please direct to:

Add product to Centralised Distribution

The product-adding procedure on Centralised Distribution allows you to sync the newly added product to other platforms such as Shopee, and Lazada without the need to separately log into that system.

Adding a product consists of the following steps:

  • Step 1: Initiate the adding process

  • Step 2: Fill in the information for the General information page

  • Step 3: Moving to the detailed information page

  • Step 4: Fill in Lazada requirement input (if the product is selected to be added to Lazada)

  • Step 5: Fill in Shopee requirement input (if the product is selected to be added to Lazada)

  • Step 6: Fill in the Centralised POS requirement input (if the product is selected to be added to Lazada)

  • Step 7: Fill in Web Store requirement input (if the product is selected to be added to Lazada)

  • Step 8: Recheck overall information

  • Step 9: Confirm upload to selected e-commerce platforms

  • Step 10: Check your result

Step 1: Click the Add Product button

Click the Add Product button at the top right corner of the screen. This will open the add product tab for you to input all the necessary information

Step 2: Fill in all the required information on the General information page

It is important to fill in all the information that is required. It is not only required by the Centralised Distribution system but also needed by the other integrated platforms for a successful syncing process.

The required information includes:

  • Select the upload channel

  • Product name

Currently, products in TikTok shops will not be allowed to use Chinese characters. Recommended: 40 lengths characters or more, a product name with includes [brand] + [content] + [product type] + [main function/feature]

  • Product details/description

Recommended to provide a description of at least 500 characters long.

  • Product image (minimum 1 image)

It's recommended to include at least 5 images to adequately represent your product.

  • Product packaging/dimension

Shipping fee calculation is based on the actual weight or volumetric weight, whichever is higher. The estimated shipping fee of the product is calculated based on a dimension and the locations of buyer and seller.

  • Product cost (optional): Original price of the product when entering the warehouse.

  • Product price: Provide the price of the product that will be visible to your customer.

  • Discount price (optional): Special price is available on the Lazada channel only - Special price must be at least 50% more than the product's cost and lower than the regular product price.

  • Product stock: Make sure it will be accurate to your real product quantity.

  • Product SKU: Set your SKU code to easily manage your products.

Recommend that SKUs include the following information: product type, manufacturer, material, size, color, package ID, and warranty ID (MNDGF12345)

  • Centralised Distribution management

The Distribution features are used to conveniently manage product information such as Group SKU: group products into 1 SKU for easy searching and management, Low Stock: helps manage products that are running out of inventory. (Feature still under development)

If you are not familiar with these yet, you can choose not to input (left blank)

Step 3: Click next to process to the detailed information tab

In the detailed tab, you will need to take some actions that are required by each platform

Step 4: Fill in Lazada requirement input (optional)

If you want to upload your product to the Lazada channel then this step is compulsory

  • Select the category of the product that you want to upload and click confirm

  • If your product is available to buy in various variations then you would also have to declare those variety information as well. This is optional so if your product does not have that then you can skip this action

  • You would also need to select a brand for your product ( opt in for No Brand if your product doesn't have one)

Step 5: Fill in Shopee requirement input (optional)

If you want to upload your product to the Shopee channel then this step is compulsory

  • Select the category of the product that you want to upload and click confirm

  • If your product is available to buy in various variations then you would also have to declare those variety information as well. This is optional so if your product does not have that then you can skip this action

  • You would also need to select a brand for your product ( opt-in for No Brand if your product doesn't have one)

  • Shopee requires you to select your preferred shipping provider, self-collection and standard delivery option is on by default.

Step 6: Fill in Centralised POS requirement input (optional)

If you want to upload your product to the Centralised POS channel then this step is compulsory

  • Select the category of the product that you want to upload and click confirm

Your Centralised POS channel needs to have at least one category/product group

Centralised Distribution currently not support uploading/syncing products with variants into Centralised POS yet

  • It is optional for you to select a supplier for your product and you can leave the option blank

Step 7: Fill in the Web Store requirement input

If you want to upload your product to the Web Store channel then this step is compulsory

  • Select the category of the product that you want to upload and click confirm

  • If your product is available to buy in various variations then you would also have to declare those variety information as well. This is optional so if your product does not have that then you can skip this action

  • Web Store requires you to display a picture for each variant so you will need to upload at least one image for EACH variant

  • You would also need to select a brand for your product ( create a brand value of No Brand on the Web Store system and opt-in for No Brand if your product doesn't have one)

Step 8: Fill in the TikTok Shop requirement input

If you want to upload your product to the TikTok Shop channel then this step is compulsory

  • Choose the TikTok shop you want to upload the product (if you have many TikTok shops linked on Distribution)

  • Select the category of the product that you want to upload and click confirm

Product categories can affect the SEO capabilities of the product, choosing the right category helps your product sell better.

  • If your category supports the COD option, you can select it. If the selected category does not support it, it will disabled.

  • Check on creating variants if the product is available in many variations (Add Variant name and value of the variant (for example Color: blue, red,…; size: XL, L, M,…)

  • At sell information, you can set 1 by 1 or apply for all variants by clicking on the "Apply all" button.

  • last thing, you will need to input the required attribute if your selected category of product requires it. Finish by clicking on the confirm button.

Step 9: Check the overall information before adding and syncing the product to selected platforms

Click the next button so you can proceed to the information check section which it provide you with a summary of what will be uploaded to each platform

Step 10: Upload product to e-commerce platform

Click the Upload button at the bottom right corner to initiate the upload process. Click Confirm on the warning pop-up.

It will take a few mins for the Centralised Distribution system to upload/sync products to all platforms.

Step 11: Check your result

This is advice so that you can always be sure that there is no mistake during the upload process
