Multi-factor authentication

You can go to Settings > Multi-factor authentication to activate your security enhancement by email OTP authentication.

Introduction

The instructions will give you have vision of our new journey: increase the security of their accounts by activating Multi-Factor Authentication.

Step 1: Go to setting
Step 2: Open MFA setting
Step 3: Activate the MFA

After activating the Multi-Factor Authentication successfully, your unifi eCommerce Hub account will be protected by our security verification email OTP.

Unifi eCommerce Hub wants your data to be kept secure, enabling Multi-Factor Authentication is a top priority so we'll remind you to protect it.

Backup email (Optional)

The email backup feature (Optional) is intended to give you an additional way to receive OTP emails to prevent information loss, or in an emergency when you cannot log in to the official email address registered with Unifi eCommerce Hub.

Step 1: Fill in the backup email address you want to set up in the MFA settings menu.

Step 2: You need to access the backup email address to get the OTP code the system has sent to you, then authenticate with the popup verification. The purpose is to check that your backup email address is owned by you.

Step 3: After successful authentication, the system will notify you that a backup email address have been added.

When setting up email address backup, OTP email will be sent to both email addresses (main & backup) at the same time with the same OTP code.

Optional: You can remove the backup email address.

Step 1: Click on the icon "Remove" on the backup email address.

Step 2: Click the "confirm" button to finish removing.
